Suissa Messer (formerly as Liquid Comma) has produced its fourth consecutive version of Eisner’s premier publication, The 2010 Personal Tax Guide.
This year marks the first time that the tax guide has been released for the Kindle along with its own dedicated microsite at http://www.eisnerllp.com/taxguide
The microsite was designed to allow readers to get the publication in the format of their choice and download only the content that was most relevant to them. With each chapter available as a separate PDF the guide was made even more accessible.
By making the guide available in numerous digital formats printing and postage costs were reduced, while expanding the channels of distribution. For this year’s guide an effort was undertaken to ensure consistency with Eisner’s ongoing Responsiveness ad campaign. Replacing the photo driven design of previous guides, each chapter divider was developed with the same ‘look and feel’ as their ads. These dividers also served as visual covers, enabling each chapter to be distributed separately.
The promotional e-mail produced for the guide enabled thousands of copies of the book to be distributed to the firm’s clients, prospective clients and other notables digitally.
The page layout and design of the book itself continues our ongoing focus on making the publication as readable as possible. Coupled with clear and concise information design, the guide continues to be a resounding success with the firm’s clientele.
